On Friday 12th December Year 3 visited Ashton once again. This time it was part of their History of Ashton field trip.
The class visited the Sentantii museum which is a brilliant resource under Ashton Town Hall.
The Sentanti were the Celtic people who lived in this area over two thousand years ago.
The class followed a rhyming trail through time from the Sentantii period to today. It was really interesting and one member of the class was heard to say it was their best trip ever!
They also took the opportunity to visit the newly refurbished Market Hall as a follow-up to their previous visit to the town centre.
