On Friday, 21st of December 2008, as part of their Science studies, Years 1 and 2 went on an exciting school trip to Manchester Science Museum of Science and Industry.
First the children attended the session about light and colour.
The children listened to the story "Can't you sleep, little bear?" by Martin Waddell and explored shadows, reflections, colour mixing, lenses, microscopes, spinners, kaleidoscopes, mirrors, coloured torches, periscopes, rainbows, light and dark.
After that, the children explored a lot of fun hands on activities at the Xperiment Room and the Air and Space Hall.
