Science: Investigating Soils - Our Lady of Mount Carmel Primary School, Ashton under Lyne

As part of their science work, Year 5 have been investigating soils.

We had to try and find the soil with the most air in, by fitering water through four types of soil (Loam, peat, clay and sand) We came to the conclusion that peat had the most air as more water filtered through the funnel.
