Below is a summary of the outstanding results achieved by Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Inter-School Competitions during the school year 2006-7.
In addition to the results shown, pupils have also participated in volleyball, off-the-blocks, mixed basketball, lacrosse, girls football festival and multi-skills festival (Key Stage 1 & Year 3)

| December 2006 | Girls Basketball - We represented Tameside in the Greater Manchester Tournament against other boroughs at the Amaechi Basketball Centre at Whalley Range where we came third |

| January 2007 | East Cheshire Cross Country Relays - Boys came third |
| February 2007 | Tameside Catholic Schools Cross Country Championships - the Years 3 & 4 girls won and one of the pupils, Natalie, came third overall and went on to represent Tameside in the Greater Manchester Competition |
| March 2007 | Catholic Schools Swimming Gala - the boys won the team event |
| March 2007 | Tameside Sports Development High-5 Netball - qualified for the Tameside Plate Finals in April |
| May 2007 | Tameside Swimming Gala - Individual Winners for various events |
| May 2007 | Tameside Catholic Schools Athletics - Won the competition |
| May 2007 | Tameside Catholic Schools Athletics - Boys won the event for small schools |
| May 2007 | Tameside Cricket Tournament - Won the qualifying rounds and went on into the finals |
| June 2007 | Girls Football League - Winners of the school Cluster at St. Damian's. One of our girls was awarded 'Most Improved Player of the Year' Award |
| June 2007 | Catholic Schools Mixed Tag Rugby - Won the tournament |
| June 2007 | Tameside Basketball Festival - The girls won their qualifying event and finished third in the festival |
| July 2007 | Represented Tameside in the Mini Games and won the Tag Rugby |
