All pupils from Years 3 and 4 took part in a Multi Stars Festival held in school earlier this year and were awarded bronze, silver or gold levels.
The children were tested on a variety of physical skills including jumping, throwing, sprinting and balancing. To achieve the top level children had to do well across all the disciplines. Those who achieved the gold award went on to represent the school at the St. Damian's Cluster. This included twenty four pupils across the Years 3 and 4 - an excellent result!
All the children performed well at the Cluster Competition with twelve achieving gold level and going on to the Tameside Borough Competition.
The children continued to perform exceptionally well with a record of eleven children achieving gold yet again and therefore qualifying to move forward to the Greater Manchester Competition.
