Years 1 and 2 took part in the Tameside Futurestars Festival where children have to perform their best in different multi-skills activities.
Last year Our Lady's won this competition where they received a cup and vouchers towards sports equipment.
The event was well attended by parents who supported their children and cheered them on. The Festival was given a high profile as it took place during National Sports Week. Many thanks go to Miss Guilfoyle and St Damian's sports leaders who encouraged the young children to do their best. Teaching staff parents and children all had a very enjoyable day.
