Sport: Girls' Football

Girls at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School are very keen football players!

Girls' football teams play in the Harthead Cluster League at Curzon Ashton once a month. The Harthead Cluster League is organised and led by Mary Guilfoyle and St Damians Sports Council.

The "A" Team: Natalie, Chloe, Nwabisa,
Shannon, Caitlin and Sophie

The "B" Team: Rebecca, Chloe, Amber,
Alex, Emma and Charlotte

In July 2008, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School took part in the Girls' Football League for the second year running, organised by Mary Guilfoyle and St Damians pupils.

Two of our girls' teams attended all the monthly games with our A Team coming joint first on points but awarded silver due to goal difference.

Both teams showed enthusiasm and committment throughout the year. Well done girls!
