Cross Country Catholic Schools Championship 2010
This year our school made history at the Catholic Schools Cross Country Championship by winning all four categories. No other school has ever achieved this result in the long history of the event!
The championship took place over three consecutive Wednesdays at King Georges Playing Fields. All the runners gave the very best of themselves to achieve this unprecedented success.
In the Under 9 Girls team Tess, Abby and Ania faired especially well with Tess winning the overall 1st place medal for the series. In the Under 9 Boys team Ashley, Jack and Ben all finished in the top ten.
In the Under 11 Girls Denver, Megan and Bethany ran exceptionally well with Denver winning the overall 2nd place medal for the series. In the Under 11 Boys top runs came from Paolo, Lewis and Alex. All runners demonstrated great determination and all their training paid dividends.
