The final event of the primary schools cross country calendar was held on Saturday 28th February at East Cheshire Harriers.
Our school performed extremely well. We won three out of four categories bringing home stunning trophies to add to our rapidly growing collection.
The winning categories were Under 9 Girls, Under 9 Boys and Under 11 Girls. All the team ran well with especially good runs from Tess, Denver, Megan, Rebecca, Lewis, Paolo, Sam, James, Alex, Joedanna, Madison, Molly and Chloe.
Our school has performed fantastically with cross country this season, winning eight out of fourteen team awards open to primary schools in Tameside (that's over half for our school!). The team also built up a big tally of individual medals. All the children have done themselves proud!
