The children and staff enjoyed coming dressed up as their favourite characters from books to celebrate this year's World Book Day!
The nursery children had fun and games, the infants celebrated in the hall to a disco and party games and the Juniors played charades to find the name of the book or film made from a book, also "Guess the Character?" and "Pictionary", where you draw the pictures of the book and you have to guess what it is.
Two children from each class received books as presents for the best costume.
The day was spent listening to stories, writing book reviews, world book day activities and taking part in a quiz on authors, books and characters.
A wonderful day was had by all!
