In July 2007, the pupils in Year 6 took part in a residential course at Whitehall in Buxton.

The Year 6 children were accompanied on the three-day residential visit by Miss McIntrye, Mr. Woolley, Mrs. Ashton and Mrs. Nadin.

On the first day the children completed an obstacle course. Then they went on the zip wire. They then had a evening hike.

On the second day, they went rock climbing and canoeing. That evening the children had to make their own shelter.

The teachers then tested the shelters by throwing buckets of water at them (with the children inside). Needless to say the children got very wet!

On the third day they went stream scrambling.
