A group of children have worked hard this term, giving up their dinner times to gain their Junior Play Leader Award certificates!

This is a scheme piloted in primary schools by Tameside Sports Development. The course helps the youngsters to develop communication, organisation and team building skills.

The Junior Play Leaders will then lead activities during break and lunchtimes with the younger pupils.

The children were presented with their certificates by sports coach Abid Hussain.
