The children in Year Five had a Pancake Party as part of their studies!
They enjoyed an afternoon of pancakes from around the world to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. They even had lots of yummy toppings to choose from. It was their last chance to feast before Lent!
The children learnt that pancakes themselves are part of an ancient custom with deeply religious roots.
