Christmas Nativity Plays 2009

Foundation Christmas Play

Once again the children in the Foundation Stage performed their traditional Nativity Play "Happy Birthday Jesus", which told the story of the birth of Jesus in a stable.

The children loved dressing up and worked hard to learn their words, dances and songs. As usual the children stole everyone's hearts.

Years 1 and 2 Christmas Play

Year 2 shepherds

Year 1 and 2's nativity play is called "The Bossy King". The play portrays a very pompous bossy king, who lived a long time ago and was very rich.

The bossy king shouted at all his servants and those who didn't bow before him.

One night the bossy king had a dream. An angel stood before him and said that he needed to go to Bethlehem, to find a King, who was the ruler of heaven and earth, Lord of everything.

The bossy king set off to Bethlehem to find that King. The bossy king demanded to see the King and was led to a poor stable.

In the stable the bossy king saw the other royal kings kneel before Jesus. The bossy king understood that that baby boy was very special and decided never to be bossy again.
