In October 2004 a team of our junior children took part in a series of race events for the Tameside Catholic Schools Cross-Country competition. The girls' under-9 team won their section and the boys' under-11 team won theirs! Even better - Aaron and Josef came first and second in all the races they took part in! Congratulations to all!

On 6th March 2004 a team of our junior children competed in the Tameside Cross-Country Championship at Richmond Street Athletics track. Over 30 schools and 400 pupils attended the event.
There were four races - under 9 girls, under 9 boys, under 11 girls and under 11 boys. The teams did extremely well and two of our girls from year six have been chosen to represent Tameside in the Greater Manchester race later in the year.
The under-9 girls' team came first in their event!
