Choir sings at Willow Wood

This year, once again, the choir went to sing for the patients at Willow Wood Hospice.

They performed a selection of Christmas carols and a medley of songs from the Young Voices concert. The music was led by Mrs. Crebbin on the keyboard. The singing was very much appreciated by the staff and patients.

Afterwards the children in the choir were treated to fruit juice and biscuits as they mingled and chatted with patients and staff.

Choir sings at Young Voices Concert

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Choir took part in the Young Voices Concert in the MEN Arena, in Manchester, along with many other schools from across the North West, on the 29th November.

The children in the choir have given up their dinner times to learn a large selection of songs for the show and have reached a high standard.

The children performed brilliantly on the night. All the parents who attended enjoyed the show and were very proud of their children. The choir loved taking part and the highlights were watching artists like classical superstars All Angels, Josh Osho and Urban Strides.

The concert supports The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and CLIC Sargent, caring for children with cancer.
