Bishop Terence Brain, the Bishop of Salford, visited Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in January.
He spent time in each classroom talking to the children. All the children enjoyed meeting him and said he was very kind and funny and made them laugh.
The children in Year 2 said that he was helping them to write stories but it was a lot of fun because he made them laugh.
Year 4 children also found him very funny when he took on the voices of Tin Man and the Lion and sang a song from The Wizard of Oz. They appreciated his help with adjectives as they were writing a descriptive passage on Oz.
The children asked many questions about the role of a bishop and he was pleased with their interest.
