On the 8th March 2004 the basketball team of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
competed in the Grand Final of the Tameside
Basketball Championships, after winning their
heat at Medlock Sports Centre.
The final was
held at Copley Recreation Centre and although
they didn't win, the team played extremely well against
some tough competition. They came 4th out of the
30 teams that had entered.
Well done to all those
on the team for showing their commitment to the
after school basketball club!
