In December two classes paid a visit to Manchester Airport!
As part of their Geography topic "Passport to the World", Years 2 and 4 made their own passports which they had stamped during a workshop at Manchester Airport.
They had a guided tour around the airport learning about the different jobs people do to make sure we have a safe and enjoyable journey.
While they were there they met and talked to Pilots and crew who told the children where they were going.
The children talked to policemen and security officers who help to keep the airport safe and then they took part in a workshop where they dressed up in various airport staff uniforms.
The highlight for the children was having their packed lunches watching the planes take off and land!
