Our Lady of Mount Carmel Primary School, Ashton under Lyne

Twenty-Five Years Service

Congratulations to two members of staff who have each clocked up 25 years of service!

Mrs Bostock

Mrs Janet Bostock has been teaching in Catholic education for twenty five years and, in appreciation of this, has been presented with a Papal Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI. Mrs Bostock has achieved excellent standards of teaching and has shared her skills and expertise within Tameside education in the role of moderator.

She has used her first class organisational skills to assist in many areas in the running of the school and has also acted as an outstanding coach to teaching staff and teachers in training. Mrs Bostock delivers very creative and engaging lessons and children have thoroughly enjoyed their learning experience under her tutelage.

Mrs Bostock is held in very high regard both within the school and within the wider education community. She is a real asset to the teaching profession and we thank her for all her hard work and dedication.

Mrs Evans

Mrs Elaine Evans has been teaching in Catholic education for 25 years. She came to Our Lady's eleven years ago and had previously taught at St Ann's Primary School in Ashton.

Mrs Evans has taught across all key stages and has shown her commitment, skills and flexibility at being able to teach at each of these levels.

Mrs Evans is a valuable member of our school and her 25 years of dedicated service and loyalty are very much appreciated.
