The Governors and staff are united in their desire to make your child's years at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Primary School very happy and fruitful.
In our "Mission Statement" we hope to have captured our intention of making sure your child makes the best possible academic progress and acquires positive values such as excellent personal behaviour and care and concern for others.
Crucially, we develop both of these aims within the atmosphere of a community inspired by Jesus Christ.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a Roman Catholic School and our Mission is to promote Jesus Christ as the centre of our lives, placing him at the heart of everything that we do.
We aim to foster an environment in which we can grow as a family in knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
We strive to recognise and develop each person's talents, gifts and skills.

Our School Aims:
1. To educate our children in the teachings and example of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Catholic Church, encouraging them to take an active part in the religious life of the school, parish and wider community.
2. To provide a stable and relaxed environment which reflects an atmosphere of love, where our children can work co-operatively and develop independence.
3. To promote the importance of worship as an integral part of providing for our school family.
4. To show concern for the physical and spiritual well-being of all those who contribute to the development of our school.
5. To help our children to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to adult life.
6. To help our children to understand the world in which they live.
